Julius Betila
Julius is a meditation and integration guide.
His path began with a yoga class in college. What started as an elective became a lifelong curiosity about the connection between body, mind, and presence. Even during a thirteen-year career in technology, he kept exploring meditative practices that helped him feel more present, and more connected to life. In 2015, Julius returned to the Philippines after twenty-three years away to spend a month with his father. During that time, they found a peace between them he didn't know he needed. The experience expanded something in him, a deeper capacity to meet life with compassion, acceptance, and an open heart. As he boarded his flight home to NYC, a simple message arose within him: Follow your joy. So he did…
That path led him toward creativity, harmony, and service. After his first sound meditation training, he had a dream that told him his work is just getting started. At the time, he didn't fully understand what it meant. He wasn't trying to become a practitioner. He was simply paying attention, following what felt meaningful, and trusting the next step. By 2017, the direction had become clear enough that he left his career and devoted himself fully to this work. Anahata Resonance was born from that leap of faith.
Since then, his knowledge has been shaped by years of study, practice, and service. Through different forms — yoga, meditation, sound journeys, and breathwork, as well as Reiki, cacao circles, and contemplative traditions — he has found a deep sense of community that informs the work he offers today.
At the heart of it all is a simple intention: reminding people to return to themselves, and remember what was never lost.
